The Jivdaya Charitable Trust was founded in 2007 by Graben Shah together with her father Hasmuk Shpatel, two trustees and four employees.
The organization's first facility was built in 2008 in the center of the city of Ahmedabad, where a rehabilitation center for wild animals was established and free medical care for homeless animals was provided.
